I wish I had suggestions. What a great idea. I am in full agreement that learning a second language is smart and also learning through music is a fun method. I am a music teacher and give you full support!
Best of luck!

I have alot of music and books in Spanish. I am teaching Carlos how to speak Spanish. There is a CD from Disney with music the Carlos really likes. Also on Sunday morning there is Plaza Sesamo in channel 16 Telemundo or channel 6 Univision. If you need help with Spanish please let me know.

I know Miss Karen speaks Spanish; she's helped Miss April sing "5 Little Speckled Frogs" to the Jellybeans class in Spanish. I may be able to help just a little with Spanish.

We go the to Hair Salon at the East Brunswick Mall. The salon is right by the Macy's. They have cars for the kids to sit in and a video like the Lion King playing. It's great.

My family lives farther south than most, but we do have a great place downtown where we get the kids' haircuts. It's a salon called Adorn, Bordentown, NJ. While they cut hair for anyone, they specialize in cutting hair for children with special needs. They have therapy dogs that sit with the children (and adults!) while getting a haircut. The staff are great and are incredible with young children. They have a special "kids only" section in the salon that is filled with toys, special hair cut chairs, books--and of course, puppies! We often stop in just to play with the dogs & puppies.

Closer to the New Brunswick area, we once went to a birthday party at "Snippets" in Princeton. It was cute, but personally, I had issues with dressing children up and sending them down a "runway" after their haircut. Thought I'd share about it though, because a number of moms have told me that they were incredibly successful there with daughters who had a really hard time getting hair cuts.
